6.28.11 Dominic Scelzi had another strong weekend setting fast time, winning the dash and leading the feature before braking his engine! We are continuing to develop our shocks for each and every short track division.

6.22.11 The weather has won more than anything in the past week however their is some exciting news starting with the release of some FK prototype base valves. Dominic Scelzi wasted no time getting the new product to victory lane in just his second start with the base valve shocks. Cole Duncan has also had great success with the base valve finishing a strong 3rd at KC during Ohio Speed week. The base valve is an add on part that allows you to run as low as 5# of gas and greatly reduce rod pressure. The base valve fits every Factory Kahne shock and will available August 1st.

Factory Kahne would like to congratulate this weekends winners and hard chargers. The weekend started off with Cole Duncan winning opening night at Lernerville with Carl Bowser finishing a strong 3rd. Next was Ocean Speedway with Shane Golobic going quick time and finishing third on his freshly tuned FK shock package. Tim Kaeding takes the win with Kyle Larson making a hard charge from back to the top five. Jason Johnson had hard luck at I-30 blowing an engine in the heat race ultimately putting him behind the rest the weekend. This wouldn't keep Jason down long as he made a charge from 12th to 1st in the B main, then from 17th to 5th in the A before a tangle put him to the rear again. He would finish 11th. The next night Jason charged from 18th to 5th in the A to finish his exciting weekend. Saturday in Tulare Ca. Bud Kaeding took is second strait non wing win making him undefeated with our Factory non wing shock package. Next on the track was the King of the West series where Factory Kahne shocks took 3 out of the top 4 positions with TK going 2 for 2 on the weekend Kyle Larson 3rd and Jason Statler 4th. At Factory Kahne headquarters we are currently dyno and track testing our 600 mini sprint shocks that will be available in May!
